Football Crazy?
Synthetic Turf
You may prefer 18 – 24 mm sand filled synthetic turf, with or without a shock-pad underneath.
3G Surfaces
The latest third generation (3G) surfaces, range from 40 mm to 65 mm pile with sand and rubber crumb infill to replicate the natural turf feel.
Polymeric Surfaces
Polymeric (resin bound rubber) surfaces are also available and can be very hard wearing with a smooth or textured finish, depending on requirements.
Tarmac Surfaces
We have also installed macadam, (tarmac), 5-a-side areas, although this is not ideal, as the players will tell you — goalkeepers especially — it’s quite hard.
